Glimmers of Maternal Bliss

A mother at the window, calm and bright,

Holding a tumbler, with all her might.

Her baby’s asleep, the chores are done,

She smiles and sips, her respite won.

Her face shows fatigue, but her heart is light,

With love for her child, so pure and bright.

The coffee warms her from within,

As she savors the moment, her respite begins.

She takes a deep breath and twinkles her eyes,

And forgets all the chaos and worldly ties.

For in this moment, she finds her peace,

Her love and joy, they’ll never cease.
